Who is Devin Owens

Devin Owens is a seasoned marketing professional, small business owner, and dedicated DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) practitioner, with a wealth of experience spanning the beauty, education, financial, healthcare, nonprofit and technology sectors.

In 2018, Devin established Less the Agency, a thriving marketing agency based in Omaha, Nebraska that cultivated a portfolio of over 65 clients globally. As the founder, she placed a strong emphasis on supporting BIPOC-owned and led companies, initiatives, and organizations. Following the sunset of The Agency in late 2023, Devin transitioned to operate as an independent marketing consultant.

Shortly before, Devin accepted the inaugural Director of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion position at Creighton University. In this capacity, she oversees the external functions of the University’s Division of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, managing Alumni Identity Networks and fostering partnerships with pathway programs for undergraduate and graduate student recruitment.

A life-long Omaha resident, Devin is a proud alumna of the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Multidisciplinary Studies. Outside of her professional commitments, Devin dedicates time to her second business, Selah Fragrance, and cherishes moments spent with family and friends
